So I am checking out the old crap on my deviantART because I have been on there a lot lately and I find this

So um. Like two years ago, Seth and Rachel E and I came up with all these weird superheroes. This was Seth's Captain Hurk's sidekick. Her name is Confusing Platypi Babe.

No there is no explanation. She just is.

I think I drew this 3-4 times in various places (ie - notebooks, loose pieces of paper, etc) with this being one of the first, I think. I know I had one where I actually had almost finished it in pen, but I think that's in a box of papers in Leah's closet.

Anyway, that's Cabadath/The Tall Man from XDAS and Black Mage from 8-Bit Theatre.

Backstory: for some reason I had the not-so-hilarious idea that Cabadath and the New Prince from the Chzo Mythos games could have their own sitcom. With super lame jokes. They were supposed to act like brothers who were always mad at each other but deep down really cared.

No, I don't know either.

In any event, there was a loooooooooooooooot of stuff like this in my sketchbooks/notebooks. A lot.

Was going to draw something new, but instead I figured I'd showcase my ongoing love affair with the name Walter.



An illustration in my old French notebook of a story I wrote for class. The French is supposed to mean "I love your kidney".

The jist of the story is this:

Eugene's mother's brother, Walter, is coming over for the holidays. Eugene hates his uncle because Uncle Walter likes to jump out from behind doors and scream "FEAR MY MUSTACHE" and Eugene finds this obnoxious. (He is actually most annoyed because it gets him every time and he usually screams and he doesn't like being made fun of.)

So Eugene decides he is going to get back at his uncle by waiting in the park where his uncle takes walks every morning, and then jumping out from behind a tree and screaming the aforementioned (and pictured) phrase. Uncle Walter is upset and goes back home. THE END.

I reread it two months back and couldn't stop laughing because I named him Walter. I always forget that it's been a very longstanding love affair.

Coloring!

This is over the course of a year or so. The original picture was drawn during my english class, and I liked it so much that I scanned it and started to color it.

Three times.

It's still not finished.

(But I still like it.)

I... I just... um...

... while looking for a completely different picture showing different coloring styles I used over the course of a year, I stumbled upon... upon this.



I... I'm really sorry. But when I saw it, I had to post it.

(I always, always forget about this, and then go "WAIT WHAT OH SNAP" whenever I see it in my OpenCanvas folder.)

There's... not really much I can say about this. Except that it was better in theory than in execution. Also I never finished it, which is probably a very, very good thing.

(also, reference for those of you who are going "What the hell is this supposed to be?" this and this.)

(edit: lolllllllz I just noticed I gave Seth coke-bottle glasses. they look like he stole them right from Prof Farnsworth. HILARIOUS)

Once upon a time, I had an art class with the worst teacher ever and so I spent almost all the time drawing stuff in my sketchbook.

A character from an unfinished story (Ann) and her boss (Diane). Ann is worried because she thinks she is fat but her boss is a whale and now she does not feel bad anymore.

Dwayne and Ann need their story finished. So bad. Right now.

Drawn with India Ink in my drawing class last year. She gave us a day to 'learn how to use it' with no explanation, so I did this. It was pretty fun to draw but I get the feeling she didn't like it that much. But whatever.
