Some Kansas Art

Also known as, the time when I couldn't draw *at all* but thought I could. (This was probably up until like 2006, but still.)

Terrifying.

In any event, this was drawn right after I read Farhenheit 451. The smuggled book under Montag's arm looks so subtle!

MORE AWESOME KANSAS ART UP NEXT, I JUST HAVE TO FIND THEM

Dance

Once upon a time, I had an art class with the worst teacher ever and so I spent almost all the time drawing stuff in my sketchbook.

(Hopefully you can see this; I couldn't get to the scanner so instead I took a picture of my sketchbook with my camera.)

No, I don't know why they're dancing.

Next up, by popular demand, the terrifying crap I drew in Kansas!! :O Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

Um, what

I'm pretty sure the one on the left is me high on LSD, but don't hold me to that.

The one on the right is STAG, hence the antlers. He was a short-lived inside joke based off an actual person.

Inanimacy

'Objects' is supposed to be 'minions'. Oops.

This was a random attempt to be hilarious. I can't remember the context (if there even was any). I don't know.

Scale

A character from an unfinished story (Ann) and her boss (Diane). Ann is worried because she thinks she is fat but her boss is a whale and now she does not feel bad anymore.

Dwayne and Ann need their story finished. So bad. Right now.

little post

bleah, I can't find anything particularly fun today so I'll just do this one

I was really, really into Invader Zim for a really long time, so I basically started drawing everything in their style. For like two and a half years. This was one of my first forays into computer coloring after drawing something on paper, therefore it kind of sucks.

However I was so proud of Dib's hands when I drew this. Still am, actually. Drawing hands sucks.

MSPaint: lame or secretly AWESOME

(answer: lame)

Figured I should add something new-ish.

Drew this early last month while watching Knocked Up. I have absolutely no idea why. Seth Rogan's hair, you so scary.

Long John

Short post today, because I need to be doing psychology homework.

Drawn with India Ink in my drawing class last year. She gave us a day to 'learn how to use it' with no explanation, so I did this. It was pretty fun to draw but I get the feeling she didn't like it that much. But whatever.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... a what.

Yes, that's right, it's a hypotenuse.

This, dear friends, is Gsteve. While doing my geometry, I got very bored all the time and drew crap in the notebook. Gsteve was one of those things. He was originally meant to be a sidekick in a comic I was going to draw (which I actually started but don't think I scanned) except that plan died. Eventually, he's become the mascot of every math class I've had since. (In my last math class, I actually started another comic about him, giving him a backstory and everything. It's... really good that I never finished that one.)

He was also part of the series of bad geometry pun characters that I constantly drew because I thought they were so funny. Example here:

Epitome of humor, right? Right.

Winter!

Because it is almost winter and cold and snowy (HAHAHAH I WISH) I decided to use this second post to display my favorite winter themed pictures!

This is Murdock the Icicle and Eugene! Aren't they cool? Yes, yes they are. They are my favorite little winter heroes. Too bad I never actually wrote their story.

And this is Murdock alone. Personally, while I thought the York Peppermint Patty hair was hilarious, I like my design better. No hard feelings?

(Sidenote: If Murdock was to have his own Christmas cartoon, he was to be voiced by Gilbert Gottfried! Or Rachel E doing a bad Gilbert Gottfried impression, we never quite got that straight.)

Opening post!

As you can obviously tell, this is an art blog. To explain somewhat further:

Being the attention whore that I am, I decided that I would make a blog where I could post things I have randomly drawn over the course of my life, since I'm sick of just having them on my computer.

Make sense? Good.

A lot of the stuff here is just going to be weird but I had fun when I drew it so yay.

WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU: SOME ART

Oh god, that sucks so hard. This is about 4-5 years old, and it's the picture I drew when I first actually started drawing. Obviously it's terrible and I'd like to think that my skills have at least improved somewhat since this, but yeah. Regardless, it is art!

Feel free to post any and all comments, whether they be constructive criticism or all-out bashing, it's all good to me. Because I am an attention whore. :P
